1.        How many levels of government does in Indonesia? Mention each one of them

Answer:

    a.    RT (Neighborhood Association)

·         Help carry out service duties to communities that are the responbility of local government.

·         Maintain the harmony of life for the citizens.

·         Make plans and carry out the development by developing the aspiration and pure self-people.

         b.  RW (Hamlet)

        c.  Urban Village

·         Implementation of village government activities.

·         Community enpowerment.

        d.    Sub-district

·         Coordinate community empowerment activities.

·      Respect and distinguish regional languages as national cultural treasures.

2.        If you can choose one other provinces in Indonesia to live in. What provinces will you choose, and why? Describe from economic prespactife.

Answer: We choose special region Yogyakarta provin that is Yogyakarta city, because Yogyakarta city is very interesting and in great demand as tourist attraction place. Yogyakarta get nicknamed as "City of student" because Yogyakarta is home for more than 100 high educational institution in Indonesia. As city of student, Yogyakarta have so many college that so many student all over Indonesia are interested in. Start with Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta State University, Islam Indonesia University, until Indonesia Institution of Art and many more. In Yogyakarta so many tourist attraction place that we can explore. From the economic side, Yogyakarta is also famous as everything is cheap. Start with food, acomodation, transportation, living cost, entrance cost to enter tourist attraction place, souvenirs, everything is relative cheap. And also delicious culinary that you can taste start with traditional food and many other menu with affordable price.

3.        With your group members, create a short presentation to explain about the differences between the U.S government and the Indonesia government.

Answer: The system of the United State and Indonesia, in principle at the same. Control of government in the hands of the president, as well as the president is head of state.

      a)      The Term of Office

The united states and Indonesia has the right to determine the war with other counties. The presidency in the United State is 4 yeras, in Indonesia 5 years. Both of state, president only choose twice.

     b)    The Method of election of the President

The United State, President choosen indirectly. The winner of the Presidential election is a candidate for president who gts the number of electoral voter the most electoral voter is devired by getting the most votes in presidential elections, in the United State. While in Indonesia the President selected directly by the method of the most votes in the general election Presidential candidates who over 50% of people will be declared the winner.

     c)    State Structure

The countries in the United States is federal, so that every state has the authority to form the law says. The central government has the Unites States more authority to regulate business with the state. While the form of state in Indonesia is a unitary state so that every regulatory things that have been made in central level as the law says and the president's decision would be applicable in all parts of Indonesia.
